In a new working session in the Mejillones commune, the H2 Antofagasta team reaffirmed its commitment to the development of green hydrogen (H2V) and its value chain in the region, establishing strategic connections with important industry players.
The visit began at the facilities of Noracid S.A., a company specialized in the production of sulfuric acid and other chemical supplies, which stands out for its carbon-neutral energy generation. During the visit, the H2 Antofagasta team gained firsthand insight into Noracid's technical knowledge and experience in handling hazardous substances, a crucial aspect for ensuring the safe and efficient development of the green hydrogen industry.
The second stop was at ENGIE Chile, one of the main drivers of energy transition in the country. During this visit, the team had the opportunity to learn about the company’s progress in decarbonization and its plans for the conversion of its thermal power plants, which are essential to meet Chile's sustainability energy goals.
These visits strengthen H2 Antofagasta's role as a vital link within the green hydrogen ecosystem, consolidating alliances that will be key to the development of this clean and sustainable industry in the Antofagasta region and nationally.
